Dr. Courtney King is a board-certified Family Medicine and Integrative Medicine physician whose training spans an extraordinary range of healing traditions. After earning her BA in Psychology from Brown University and her MD from the Medical College of Georgia, she studied with Andrew Weil and pursued advanced training in Traditional Chinese Medicine in Beijing, medical acupuncture at the Helms Institute, and Ayurvedic Medicine at the Dhyana Center.
Dr. King is an IFM-certified Functional Medicine Practitioner who completed her Family Medicine residency in Fort Collins and has continued to expand her clinical repertoire. In 2023, she completed a 200-hour Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy program at Naropa University, and in 2025 she obtained her Colorado Clinical Psilocybin Facilitator license. This breadth of training allows her to draw from multiple evidence-based and traditional systems to create truly personalized care plans.
Dr. King believes that the most effective healing often comes from integrating the wisdom of diverse medical traditions with modern functional medicine. Whether working with acupuncture, Ayurvedic principles, or psychedelic-assisted therapy, she meets each patient where they are and collaborates closely with them to address root causes and support lasting wellness.
